Alice Lake is surrounded by towering mountains, dense forests and grassy areas. There are four fresh water lakes in the area (including Alice Lake) that make swimming, biking, hiking, and picnicking enjoyable things to do in Squamish.
The trail around Alice Lake is a popular one for an evening stroll in the warm sun and for the more adventurous families there is the Four Lakes Trail. The park is a hotspot for families and groups in the summer.

2. Expand Horizons & Let Your Kids Fly A Plane, Really

What kid doesn’t dream of driving a train, a dumper truck, or a plane? Well, we can make one of their dreams come true on our Introductory Flight Experience.
Before taking to the skies your pilot will talk you and your child through the foundations of flight, cover the essential principles of aviation, and explain what it will be like when they take the controls of the plane as the co-pilot.
Children under two years old can fly with us a passenger and must sit on the lap of a responsible adult. Children over two can have their own seat, and as long as they can see over the cockpit they can take the controls and experience flying a plane.
Extra seats can be added for parents or siblings for just $50 per person.

3. Get ‘Em Hooked On Fishing At Brohm Lake

Brohm Lake entry: Free
Brohm Lake lies in the traditional territory of the Squamish First Nation. The Squamish Nation is comprised of Salish peoples who are descendants of the aboriginal peoples that lived in the present day Greater Vancouver area, Gibson’s landing, and the Squamish River watershed.
Brohm Lake Recreational Site is just north of Squamish. To get there, drive north on Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) after arriving in Squamish and look for signs for the entrance to Brohm Lake Recreational Site, on your left. The lake shoreline can safely be accessed by trails that start at the recreational site. Brohm Lake itself is a great site for swimming, fishing, or lakeside picnicking.
Fishing license: one day, $10 ($20 non-resident), annual, $36 ($55 non-resident). You will need to bring your own fishing gear.
4. Fly Over The Gondola & Get Eye-Level With The Tantalus Range

5. Go Horseback Riding On A Squamish Ranch
