Do I have to provide proof of Vaccination or wear a mask on my flight
No
As of October 1st 2022, passengers are no longer required to wear a mask on board their flight, will no longer be required to answer a health check questionnaire prior to boarding and are not required to show proof of vaccination.
Our aircraft will continue to be sanitized after each flight, as well as touch points in our office areas. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask on board your flight you are more than welcome to do so.
Also, as a federally regulated air service, you can fly safe in the knowledge that all Sea To Sky Air employees are fully vaccinated.
What are your COVID-19 precautions
Do you fly on weekends?
Yes – We are open each and every weekend. They tend to be our busiest time of the week so booking in advance is recommended.

On an average day, it should take around 45 minutes to drive from the top of the Lions Gate bridge to Squamish Airport.
How much are seaplane tours near Vancouver & Squamish?
We have four seaplane tours and six wheeled plane tours. Our seaplane tours are the:
Phantom Lake by Seaplane, $425 + tax
Howe Sound Fjord & Coast by Seaplane, $315 + tax

The experience on seaplane tours & scenic flights is priceless. We’re a little bit more expensive than other operators near Vancouver but this is so that you get the best possible experience.
Our planes seat three guests and one pilot per tour. This means that everyone has a window seat, you have a 360º view, and two-way headset with microphones so you can talk to your pilot and ask questions along the way.
What happens if there is bad weather and we cannot fly?
Your pilot will assess the weather for your particular flight and make the final decision with safety as a priority. If the weather doesn’t provide for the best possible experience, we will work with you to reschedule it for another time that suits you.. We will call you at least 2 hours prior to your flight time to inform you of the cancellation. You may then reschedule at your convenience. As always, please feel free to call us if you have any questions at all about your flight.
Do you accept reservations with short notice?
Absolutely. We can book a flight for you with same-day notice – or as far in advance as you wish. We offer online reservations of our tours 24/7.
Can I bring my kids on a flight?
Yes and we’d love it if you did! All ages can participate in a flight. Children up to two years old are considered infants, and must sit on the lap of a responsible guardian. Children older than two must have their own seat in the aircraft.
How early should I arrive at Squamish airport for my flight?
We offer a fast and convenient check-in process that shouldn’t take more than 5-minutes. We recommend that you arrive with 10-minutes to spare before your reservation time. No lengthy lines or baggage check-in here!
What should I wear for a scenic flight?
Simply dress for the season. Flying in our aircraft is just like driving in a car, with ventilation and heating control. If you’re a cold person bring an extra sweater or mid-layer if you’re a hot person there is space for you to take off layers and stow it under the seat. Sunglasses are always recommended all year-round.
Are there any weight restrictions for a scenic flight?
We recommend that if the combined weight of all passengers per aircraft (maximum of three) is greater than 600 lbs (~270 kg), please contact us by phone or email to make your reservation.
